Live Cardiac Monitoring
Live cardiac monitoring, such as Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCT), is a continuous heart monitoring test used to record your heartbeats and activity. MCT provides near-real-time EKG data transmission to our monitoring center, staffed by Certified Cardiac Technicians.   The recorded EKG data is securely transmitted to our US based Cardiac Monitoring Center, which is staffed 24/7 by Certified Cardiac Technicians. Our team of Certified Cardiac Technicians monitor, review and analyze your EKG information and provide a finalized report to your prescribing clinician. You can also manually push a button when you have a symptom so we can correlate your symptom with your actual EKG. Â

Prescription
Your clinician has prescribed a cardiac monitor test for you. Either the monitor was applied in your clinician’s office, or we were instructed to mail the monitor to you.
Application
If we are mailing your monitor to you, apply your monitor according to the instructions provided for you in the box. For an optimal monitoring session, please apply the monitor as soon as you receive it.
Recording
If we are mailing your monitor to you, please call our Patient Support line at 1-888-817- 8838 to start your study. Once the monitor is initiated, every heartbeat is recorded onto the monitor and then transmitted through the cellular network to our 24/7 monitoring center.
Return
When your monitoring session is complete, please immediately return the monitor to your clinician’s office if it was applied there or if it was shipped to you, mail it back to us with the shipping envelope.
Results
When your monitoring session is over, we will analyze your EKG data and provide a final report to your clinician for final interpretation. We do not provide any results to patients, only the clinician will discuss your data.
Extended Holter Monitor
A Holter monitor is a type of portable electrocardiogram (ECG), invented by Norman J. Holter, in 1960. Historically, it has been prescribed to wear for 24 hours and records every heartbeat during the session.
Clinical studies have proven that although the standard holter monitoring session has been valuable, an Extended Holter Monitor session, which is prescribed for greater than 2 days, up to 14 days, provides a tremendous amount of increased diagnostic data.
Our Extended Holter Monitor device is a compact, discreet, and exceptionally comfortable heart monitor that will allow you to stay active throughout the day. Designed with your comfort in mind, it is a thin, flexible strip placed on the upper chest which is invisible under clothing and comfortable even at night and can be kept on during physical activity or even in the shower. What’s more, its lightweight design ensures it won’t interfere with your sleep.
Prescription
Your clinician has prescribed an Extended Holter Monitor test for you. Either the monitor was applied in your clinician’s office, or we were instructed to mail the monitor to you.
Application

Once the monitor is initiated, every heartbeat is recorded and then your EKG data will be analyzed by our Certified Cardiac Technicians.
Return
When your monitoring session is complete, please immediately mail it back to us with the shipping envelope. DO not return the monitor to your clinician’s office. Mail the monitor and diary in the envelope provideded as soon as possible, so we can analyze your data and provide your Clinician with the results.
Results
When we receive your device, we will analyze your EKG data and provide a final report to your clinician for final interpretation. We do not provide any results to patients, only the clinician will discuss your data.
